"I had to make a rush trip to Columbia and reserved a room for one night. I was amazed at how nice this Hotel is. It has gone through a total renovation at some point, and my room was very, very nice. I'll start with the entry and move forward. New lovely wide wood flooring (also in the Bath area), new carpeting, new furniture, which included a large closet, two side tables, wooden enclosed shelving for Refrigerator and Microwave (3 drawers under shelf). Big screen TV and Desk. I had a King sized bed (very comfortable) and new lighting fixtures. Bathroom, sink and wooden stand with shelving, outside the bath area, new tub, shower head, new lavatory with shelving above for towels, etc. If I had anything negative to say, it wouldn't be about the Hotel itself, but the location (next to I-70). I was awakened around 4:30, which is probably the time most Semi's are on the road. I had my white noice machine and the fan on, and eventually fell back to sleep. Highly recommend this lovely Hotel. To be honest, I was looking for an affordable Hotel, and this met all my expectations. "
