"Our communication with the host was excellent and Scott was very responsive to answer any questions about the property. His recommendations on where to eat and local attractions were very helpful. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after hiking and kayaking on the Rivanna River. This was our first trip to Wintergreen Resort and we will definitely be back."

"We came up over the Independence Day holiday and really enjoyed our stay. First, the hosts are so responsive. Had a couple minor issues to deal with, nothing that could have been anticipated or prevented, and our hosts were quick to respond and get things set right. Could not say enough about their responsiveness. The unit is very big, compared to others in the area. We had four adults and could have accommodated four more. Didn't even use one of the three bedrooms. Very well equipped property with a walk-out patio overlooking the golf course. Great place to bring a pet. The neighbors were so friendly as well. The unit has everything you could want and more. Someone else advised us of the number of stairs required to access the property (55 steps in all), but it was not bad. We felt like it was a good warm up for our hiking outings! Loved the location, good proximity to Wintergreen Village, area wineries and distilleries, lots of hiking paths, and such a beautiful area. we would definitely come again."

"Family was in town for a baseball tournament. Was a great quiet place that was clean and well maintained. Pond was fun to fish in. Lots of nice areas to hang out outside or inside. Would definitely come back!"

"This was a great house in the mountains. It was clean and had everything we needed. The front porch was amazing, allowing us to sit and watch nature, with our pup joining in on the family activity. Bring food and drinks and enjoy nature in this comfortable home. You could go out to eat, but you have to navigate the windy mountain roads, and everything is 20 plus minutes away. Try the CrabTree Falls hike, about 10 miles down the road, the views were spectacular. The owner was easy to communicate with and very helpful. We will stay again if in the area."

"The space was perfect for my family of 5. The game room was a perfect “man cave” for my 10 year old. I liked how responsive they were to our questions. It was a perfect stay. "

"We just pulled back in our driveway after an amazing 2 days at this little slice of just absolute bliss. Cabins were new, the bed was comfy and nothing beats walking barefoot through the stream or sitting around the fire pit. Gorgeous views when the sun burns through the fog in the mornings too. We're definitely coming back! We were there with two other couples and you wouldn't even have known. The pollinator garden was a nice touch too. hank you! "
