"They denied us the room due to my medical alert service dog. They claimed it was a pet even with my paper work, certificates and vest! Worse they lied to hotel.com claiming they would give us the room for an extra $100 and refused refund. We reserved and arrived less than 24 hrs later and we lost a room we did not use almost $400. They said my service dog was unsanitary to the other guests and refused us entry. At 9pm at night we had to find another hotel! Horrible experience "

"I booked my wife and I in for a 4 days over Christmas. It as a bit last minute and an not normally an eco lodge vacationer. Wow! Awesome spot, great rooms (though, be prepared to use the fans!), excellent food, and fantastic staff. It is a small, 9-10 unit place, with pool, dining, spa, yoga, surfing, paddle boarding, and the beach. The owners, Gary and Dee, met us and settled us into the place and launched us on a paddle board before having to head to Managua for Christmas with their kids....
