"Island House is one of my favorite hotels in the world and yet feels just like home. The boutique hotel is spacious, with quiet tree top views, a relaxing pool that’s always free, spa, gym and access to the private beaches of historic Old Fort Bay Club. The staff is attentive and relaxed. Excellent restaurant options, including an Italian market with fresh pizza, Roman fine dining, inventive Sushi and an all day bar & cafe. A monthly rotation of events focuses on wellness, cinema, music, fine dining and culture. Close to the airport, but far from the cruise crowds - Island House sits in front the heart of Lyford Cay, the capital of off-shore financial services, private banking and luxury neighborhoods tourists never see."

"Beautiful grounds on the hotel property. It is across from a beautiful beach. Nice pool. Extremely helpful, caring staff. Was great to have a restaurant at this hotel with good food. I would definately stay again if I'm ever in Nassau. 5 stars!!"

"I can't say enough about this property!! It's exactly as described. Just beautiful and serene!! Our family absolutely loved it. The rooms are spacious and open. There were well enough dishes and utensils! It's quiet and relaxing. John was absolutely amazing responding to my requests. This will definitely be a place we visit again! There was absolutely nothing that was lacking!"

"We enjoyed the location which was away from the large, commercial, stereotype complexes that try to keep you in their “hotel bubble.” This is a small and quiet place that offers tranquility. It has a charming beach front with trees. You are away from the congested traffic, 11 minutes south from the airport and close to other beaches in the area. A 15 minute drive to Clifton Memorial park offers pristine beaches that are natural and isolated. A 2 minute walk from the Villas takes you to a scuba diving shop offering 2 tank dives and snorkeling twice a day. Lots of fish, a few sharks swimming about with interesting plant life. We enjoy the rustic setting. The rooms come with a kitchen, stove and fridge, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The units contain an upper and lower. Upper having a balcony with a total of 12 ( or more)units. We were told that the place just opened 5 days before we arrived since its closing during COVID. It needs some TLC and is slowly going through a restoration. The cook Keagan had inventive and tasty food offerings as well as excellent advice for local attractions. The assistant cook and the hostess/bartender were cordial and very friendly. They offered a fine selection of Cuban cigars and very nice local beer. If you want to get away from the commercial hotel complexes that charge you an insane $88.00 breakfast, then check it out."

"The perfect house for a big group! House is exactly as pictured and has everything you need. Mike the host was super easy to work with an ensured check in was super seamless. Definitely would return to the property. The resort overall was beautiful, great pool, great bar, great restaurant, amazing views."
