"The River House is a beautiful property. It is a gorgeous log home with the Susquehanna River as the backyard. The home was very clean and comfortable. The entire property is calm and relaxing. My husband was able to fish right on the river bank which was one of the main reasons for this trip. We also enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely return for a stay in the fall. Thank you!"

"Chris has such a beautiful property! We had such a relaxing time just hanging out by the fire and in the hot tub! We were able go walk the property and explore what was on the 60 acres. We saw deer and all different types of birds. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the future!"

"The views we had during our stay at this wonderful cabin were nothing short of MAGNIFICANT! We were blessed with not 1, but 2 snow storms of 8 inches or more each. The snow, sticking on the trees, as we walked through the hiking trails in the woods is something you would see on a winter postcard. Can only be explained as MAGICAL! We wanted to have a secluded vacation with our doggies, and we got way more than we ever expected. Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise with us."

"Our family had a wonderful at this beautiful log cabin. Very cozy and quiet. We had three children with us and they enjoyed the large front yard and playhouse. The real hit for them was the hot tub! Our host Cory was great. We appreciated his responsiveness and flexibility. I would highly recommend this cabin."

"The communication from Chris was very thorough. Before we arrived, we were given very detailed instructions on how to navigate the property along with his contact information. The place was exactly as beautiful as it was described in the listing. Fire tower is surrounded by nature and we felt isolated but also, it’s just a short drive to get into downtown Bloomsburg. Waking up to the sunrise was our favorite part. We will definitely be back to stay at Fire Tower in the future!!"

"The perfect place for some well needed R&R. Enjoyed the hot tub and especially having Penns Creek right there. Unfortunately we came right after several days of heavy rain and didn’t get much fishing in (water was too rough). We did take a few short drives to the lakes in the area. My dog loved it and first time we saw her enjoy the water we will definitely come visit again in summer or fall. The mountains are beautiful in the fall. "This was my third time renting this cabin. Property is great, as is the fishing. There was a toilet issue (backing up) that the supplied plunger did not handle. Luckily, I had a snake and had to snake the toilet it ~8 times. The property manager sent out the septic tank team, which found no issue. The next morning the problem persisted, and I called the property manager and she had the plumber out, who found no problems (because I snaked it). The next morning same issue.
