"Hotel Route Inn Omagari was spotless, good breakfast and very nice hot baths. We have always had a good experience with these hotels. Small rooms but very adequate. "

"It’s a charming old hotel with an European theme. Location is remote so driving is a must. Rooms are pretty old but clean & spacious. They have 2 onsens on the property. Breakfast & dinner were both great. Dinner is served in a set while breakfast is a buffet spread with good variety. Staff are warm & accomodating. Will like to go back if possible."

"We stayed at this hotel to go to Omagari Fireworks next day. There is a one man train running between Kitakami to Yokote where is about 20 min train ride to Omagari.The train station was next to the hotel that was perfect for the early train ride. All Staff were very kind,?friendly and helpful. Restaurants are within walkable distance and one place the staff recommended was "

"We had an amazing time and used this as two days of relaxing in the middle of our 1.5 minth trip. It was our first time at an onsen (we are Canadian) and it was a great introduction as there was both private and public onsens. The view was incredible, of the mountains and valley and we got to sit in a private outdoors onsen while watching a lighting storm. Truely magical. The staff was amazing and very accomodating. They were friendly and helpful and we communicated well through translator apps. Would go again!"
