"I personally like the convenience and privacy of an ensuite, which is the only reason Trecastle doesn't get five stars all the way. That aside it's an excellent place to stay with lovely, friendly hosts and secure garage parking for my motorbike. I will return."

"Fantastic stay, lovely rooms and wonderful hosts. "

"If you want a remote property with lovely facilities, this is the one. A rustic small cottage with a beautiful courtyard to have your meals and look out over the French countryside. The pool area is nice and could do with a little update but was a great area to relax. No many French properties have pools and this one is a combination of a hot tub and a pool. Nearest hypermarket is 15 minutes drive and also a beautiful farm shop is nearby. The property has a portable air conditioning unit in the...

"Lovely quiet setting. Ideal to get away from the hustle of everyday life. The gite is very well equipped and comfortable."

"Si vous aimez le calme tout en ayant tout à proximité, c'est l'endroit idéal. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, la maison a tout le confort nécessaire et la piscine est un grand plus. Les propriétaires sont très discrets tout en étant toujours disponibles. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances. Bref, des vacances de rêve. "

"We loved it here, we had 2 families of 4 sharing and there was still plenty of room. With the pool, hot tub and games room you have everything to keep the little ones (and adults) entertained. The added bonus is that it's located in a beautiful part of the world."

"We had a wonderful stay in the Limousin. We received a warm welcome upon arrival. The cottage is cozy, clean, and fully equipped. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature."

"We really enjoyed being based at this lovely accommodation to explore the region. It was lovely to come back to the property after a day spent walking and enjoying local French cuisine. It is a peaceful place ideal for relaxing with a cold beer and a nice glass of wine on the patio. Come night time the sky often revealed an array of stars because there is very little light pollution in the area. Overall the property is well thought out, well equipped and finished to a good standard. Nicolas our...

"It’s always a relaxing pleasure to stay at the Louis Aragon cottage as it’s such a tranquil location. Sitting watching the sunset with the amazing colours in the sky is amazing. We have stayed here 3 times and it’s always been a pleasurable experience and you always feel safe & secure. The facilities are great with washing machine, full sized ironing board and dishwasher. Bed is very comfortable so you can sleep well with the fresh country air."

"We had a fantastic week staying in a traditional house, renovated to a high standard and equipped with all mod cons. Easy access by car to Limoges. This is a lovely part of France for touring and taking in the gorgeous countryside."

"I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s always been very good."

"Nice room, lovely hotel. Paint started to peel in the shower. Great location. Would stay again."

"Enjoyed the stay dry much. The room and the spa âmenity was awesome."

"Great double room which was spacious, clean and well equipped. Staff were good though check in was slow. Pool ok clean but in need of a spring clean. Plenty of parking."

"Clean room excellent breakfast"

"The room we had was nice and spacious with good wardrobes and storage spaces. The room, kitchen and bathroom were clean. The staff were friendly. The location was good for getting into town and you could see the river close by from some rooms. Overall a great stay. I would stay again and would reccommend it."
