"The place was perfect, exactly as depicted, in a lovely home in a quiet area a block from bay. It was convenient to most of Kent. The rooms are lovely and cozy with additional pullout on lower floors. I have teens so the added space was a blessing. The host was very kind and attentive checking in and offering any information to make our stay more pleasant. Checking in and out was simple and care free. I would certainly recommend it and intend to stay there again."

"The room was clean, well maintained. The breakfast was fine. The pool was okay but the hot tub was down for maintenance. The value for two nights was good. Location was great. The staff was okay and polite, not overly friendly. The outside including steps, cooking out area, walkways were somewhat cleaned. This wasn't the worst place nor was it the best place I have ever stayed. It was okay."

Whether you're interested in charter fishing, boating, waterfront dining, or simply unwinding by the water, Rod 'N' Reel delivers on every level. The resort features a marina, fishing charters, multiple dining venues, pools, and a variety of activities that make it a destination for the entire family. What stood out most was the attention to detail and the genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Every team member we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to make our stay memorable. If you're looking for a relaxing waterfront getaway in Maryland with incredible views, great amenities, and a true Chesapeake Bay atmosphere, I highly recommend Rod 'N' Reel Resort. We can't wait to return!"

"While the staff were very pleasant and helpful—the physical property has seen better days. Our first room had a leaking shower and a non-working refrigerator. We were moved to a different room without question. This room was laid out a little better. But, both rooms had the a/c & heat vents right next to the bed. We had to turn the system off at night so the cold air wouldn’t blast onto the person on that side of the bed."
