"Loved the vibe of this beach hotel. Reminded me of Club Med in the Seventies. Loved the vibe of the town and beach. No pretensions just chill and real life. Water is incredibly clean. No rocks or shells at the wave line. Good waves. Tall sand dunes. Inexpensive drinks on the beach. Be very careful with the sun. 8 unprotected minutes will get you a second degree sunburn — blisters! "

"Perfect location at La Barra. Spacious room size with lots of wardrobes and brand new towels, robes and sheets. Attentive and 24/7 staff. Wonderful food at breakfast, restaurant and room service. Beautiful bar. Great gym area and pool. My only suggestion is that the pool could be heated. Love it and hope to come back soon!"

"Hotel Fasano is located outside Punta Del Este in a somewhat remote location. It is pricey, but absolutely out-of-this-world beautiful! Staff, service and accommodations were impeccable. David, the manager, is hands-on, very responsive, and on top of everything. We will be back!"

"The place is nice there is no Uber or Taxi nor a emergency room for you or your kids in case you get food poisoning. Too far away from a hospital or no clinic open after 7:00 PM. "

"The hotel worked out perfectly for us and we even stayed an extra day! The room was comfortable, and we also enjoyed sitting in the area outside our room. We loved having breakfast in the charming dining area as well as outside on the patio. The family is very friendly and helpful, and had excellent suggestions for places to visit and where to eat. We really enjoyed our time in Punta del Diablo and hope one day to return to Bodegón. "
