"Overall it is a very nice resort and the free morning breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint about is that two of the pools and jacuzzi were not filled or functional. Make sure you get an air conditioned room otherwise you have no privacy. "Nobody speaks English in the hotel. The music was too noisy every evening."

"Very quiet and nice place in the rain forest, restourant on the spot and great nature environment; plenty parking."

"This is our fourth time staying at Maya Jade, we love it. It’s private and quiet. The pools are great. We will stay here again. We live in Alaska and we will fly to Guatemala just to stay here."

Also the cleaning staff was very nice and cooperative with cleaning hours. Our problem was the management of the hotel. The manager would not let all members of our group to check in to the hotel as the hotel had some connection problem with Expedia. Note: the room was reserved and payed a year in advance and the confirmation had been sent to...
