" Shiraz Plaza is a GREAT hotel for Gyumri. The location is perfect. I took the train from Yerevan and could walk to the hotel easily. Plus it is located right off the city's main square - so the location is perfect. The rooms are nice, modern, spacious and clean."

"Deniz is a wonderful person and the house is a very pleasant place to be. The surrounding area is a mess, but it is really in the center of the city. I can't understand how a city could let this happen, but it is what it is. It isn't cheap compared to some hotels in the area, but for me it was worth it."

"The hotel is perfectly situated for visiting the Castle and other interesting sights. The staff were wonderful, kind and considerate. The communal sitting area is lovely and I was plied with tea all afternoon. The place is really warm which as a February visitor was important. The breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice.
