"We had paid for reservation for 4 rooms for 4 people. Arrived late night/early morning 3.00 am and find out there are no rooms available because the hotel is being renovated. They directed us to go to a different hotel providing no further assitance. Why they accept reservation and payment when the rooms do not exist is any body's guess. They left us starnded. What if it was a family who has never travelled to Freetown before. Bad experience. "

"I stayed at the HomeSuites for several nights while attending a nearby conference. The hotel was lovely. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Water bottles were refreshed daily. The staff was attentive to any requests or questions. The restaurant (Swan) and the bar (Vanity) were both delicious and welcoming. I appreciate all efforts of the team to ensure the stay was enjoyable. "

"Staff turned off the power so no AC. They "called the manager" but it took hours. Lots of people doing nothing. Very dirty. Very little food on breakfast table. Sometimes no water (always cold water), bad internet connection and only in hall when power, no kettle, no air port shuttle. At night a sleeping man on the couch and doors open and unlocked"
