The biggest problem we had were the stairs to the bedroom, and if you have to use the bathroom you will be using them to descend from the loft beds. They are very narrow very steep and the bannister has come loose. This is a real safety problem and impossible for many people Throughout our stay my wife kept saying well this is how French rentals are. So you understand there was no toilet paper no paper towels no shampoo...

And most of the place we visited were only 30 mins drive away. "This is a very well appointed appartment with a great view and location. Bright, modern and well-equipped it met the needs of three friends of a certain age perfectly. "Very good stay in St Valery. The cottage was well situated, just a short walk along the river to everything. The peace was only broken by the train at the end of the garden and a seal having his breakfast outside one morning! The stairs are steep and a touch slippy - my teenage daughter fell once, but this had been flagged up by other reviewers, and no one else had a problem. "Loved to have the option of the beach and pool.The local area is with in walking distance and local markets are a must to visit. lots of amenities on the door step to break the holiday up including go ape type activities and mini golf. Slight confusion why bedding is not charged as part of the overall cost and not mentioned on the VRBO website. "The property is a lovely old fishermans cottage. Set over 2 floors and with an adequately equipped kitchen and bathroom. Close enough to the centre of Le Crotoy to stroll to, yet far enough away from the centre for peace and quiet. This made a great base for our visit to the area. We would definitely stay there again."
