"Everything was good except when it came to the TV Satellite. didn't have a clue on how to find a channel so I called the front desk and the gentleman was at my door in a jiffy. He came in and fiddled with the remotes and got the TV working in no time at all. He even showed me the buttons to push if any issues were to arise. Happy to say No issues and the stay wa great. We will return when in the Brownwood, Tx area. Thank You Sir for your hospitality."

"With rising prices in the greater Abilene area, this property in Eastland is worth the stop. If you are not in a rush, many of the historic small towns offer wonderful food and shopping. This property offers clean rooms and great water pressure (always important). The staff was very helpful and the no frills breakfast was always hot and available for four hours. Need a general store with a pharmacy ? It’s across the highway. Need Starbucks? Just 25 minutes away. Fast food? Take your pick. Gas? All over. Plenty of towels. I would prefer on-wall soaps, shampoo and conditioner in the bath but you, like me, probably have your own. Good property for a reasonable price. You’ll pay more for less in Abilene. Trust me."

"On my first night Amanda was excellent during check in and asking if I needed anything. However, I have stayed at many best westerns and the property was filthy (just being honest). I was so disappointed I wanted to find another hotel but I didn’t not want to sit on the phone for a long time and then relocate and I had been on the road all morning. There were roaches (I have pictures), spiders, the linen was not clean, the carpet was so dirty I couldn’t keep my shoes on, this was actually the very first hotel I have stayed at where the carpet was so dirty it felt sticky under my feet. The biggest one of all was the toilet not working, Amanda did come and plunge it upon arrival, but it stayed messed up the entire night. At 1:48am I called the front desk because the toilet was so loud it woke me up, it sounded like the tub was running. The breakfast was horrible, I always book hotels with free breakfast, my family live road trips, and of all the years this was the first time we left a hotel with free breakfast and went and got breakfast. The bacon looked like scraps, the strips were no bigger than an inch maybe two, the juice in the machine tasted funny, the eggs tasted like potatoes and the texture was way off. A/C worked perfect. Curtains were dirty and stained. Overall the hotels needs major cleaning. Oh and please let me not forget to mention I had to go downstairs and get gloves because the toilet was DIRTY. The amount of urine let’s me know they are NOT cleaning. "
