"Really pleased with our stay here. Staff were helpful in allowing us to store our luggage whilst we wandered around the settlement before checking in properly. Single room was spacious enough with bed, wardrobe, desk, chair and mirror and decent floor space. The shared bathrooms are kept clean, one of them even had a full bathtub if you fancy a long soak.
The restaurant does a good variety for breakfast with both hot and cold food and drink. We dined in the restaurant one evening and can highly recommend the food here.
The windows have blackout blinds if you are stayed during the summer, though some light does still creep in and a sleep mask is recommended if you would struggle to sleep when it’s not dark.
Overall, I’m glad we chose this hotel as it felt a lot more authentic and in keeping with the rest of Longyearbyen."
