"The staff are all very kind and helpful. The restaurant food was all really delicious and the atmosphere of the resort was relaxing and beautiful, especially because it is all on the ocean front. We did 2 boat dives with Volcano Divers and they were really great!"

"We had a lovely stay at Evergreen. The staff were very helpful and the landscaping was unique and beautiful. The dining area, overlooking the grounds and ocean, was a lovely place to relax and play cards with the family. The trio of cheeky kittens were an absolute highlight and doted on by every tourist."

"Good basic accommodation."

"Unfortunately there was no power for my week stay. The location and beach were the highlights. It’s rundown a bit from my last stay in 2015."

"We loved our two-night stay at Glowing Mountain Tree House. It was such an authentic experience and felt like a real adventure! Philip was incredibly helpful and organised everything for us, from airport transfers to visits to the hot springs and Mount Yasur volcano. The tree house is within walking distance of the entrance to the volcano, which meant we were able to visit twice—an amazing bonus, especially as the weather was much better on our second visit. "We believe the best place to stay in Tanna if you prefer not to stay in a Ressort. An outstanding place with a great view on the Volcano at any time of the day and extremely nice, friendly and reliable hosts taking good care of you. Also, they ask for very reasonable prices for the activities. "

"Mike, his wife and 2 daughters were excellent. However the place was affected by nature and there is no electricity, no wifi, no hot water. As other guests have said before, it is a long way from Lenakel, 1.5 hours driving on the dirt road which can be difficult after rain. So I won't recommend staying more than 2-3 nights mainly to see the volcano+- the Iatapu traditional dance."

"Every thing was just perfect and fine for this property, except it is not suitable for unadventurous poeple. It is what it is as advertised, cheap and value for money. A fan should have been added as it can be suffocating in hot weather condition."

"We had the most amazing time here, from the minute we landed at the airport everything was perfect. Daniel and his family are wonderful people and organised everything we needed, transport from/to airport, tours and food. The location is truly authentic in a village and you could see the volcanos glow from our room."

"i was made to wait for three hours and was eventually told by the hotel staff to cancel the reservation as they claimed not to have received payment. we had to book another hotel last minute! really bad experience with the lava view bungalows."

"Friendly family, amazing views of the volcano. I stayed in the new bungalow which will soon have its own ensuite."
