"Sangkla resort is nice clean place to stay in Sangklaburi, with friendly accommodating staff, but travellers staying at this resort must have their own transport to visit the local tourist attractions. Breakfast was very good for Asian food. Western style food was more limited but adequate. The only downside was that fried eggs are not kept warm ! "

"If you are in the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary area, you absolutely must stay here. It’s not five star, but it’s good old fashion very relaxed Thai hospitality in a beautiful setting. "Decent budget type of hotel.. However the wifi did not work in the room and I needed to work so had to go to lobby to get a decent connection for phone and laptop. Drain in shower was loose. Soap dispenser did not work in shower. Towels are like sand paper. Walls could use a painting of at least some touch up."

"Loud noisy trucks outside but poor room lighting in room that kept turning on by itself no matter how many times I shut it off in middle of night. I got no rest, up from 1:30 am to 6:30 am. Find another hotel to stay at. "

"We stayed at grandmas for one week while volunteering at the dog sanctuary in town and we are very happy we chose to stay there. Grandma is very kind, inviting, and lovely to talk to. Her daughter is a ball of joy and very intelligent. The breakfast is top notch! We had fried rice and also some special Burmese cuisine. The bedroom and bathroom are very basic and not for picky people. (Basic mattress, squat toilet, cold shower, concrete floors). But you should stay here for the experience, and...

Oldie but a goodie
"Yes, this hotel is in desperate need of a refurbishment.... but dont let that stop you from staying there! This was, by far, the most comfortable bed i have slept on in the whole of Thailand!!!! The rooms are big, bathrooms are ok but a little dark, need a few more lights. Big plus is the fact that the big shopping mall, Robinsons, is just across the road. Also, breakfast was really good! You know how you are disappointed every time you get a croissant at a breakfast buffet because once you bite into it, its immediately apparent that its been sitting there for 10 years... not at this hotel! I bit into the most fresh, flaky, soft and warm croissant ive had in Thailand in weeks. I'd stay here again just for the breakfast and the bed!!!"
