"We wanted a place to stay for family of 3 couples 2 grand children and 1 adult where everyone would have their space and plenty of bathrooms. Everything is thought of from coffee machine to games. Even though it was cold the tennis court was a big hit We had my husbands 70th Birthday Party with around 45 people and it was a wonderful place for it. We also had caters attend for the party. "

"Wonderful property. Quality decor, beds, fittings, kitchen . Spent a long weekend with friends. Beautiful big kitchen which was very well equipped so very social cooking. Large dining table leading into sitting room. Rooms was large, very comfortable with linked quality bathrooms. High shower heads, big baths. Good heating . " A lovely cottage with so much style and history. Looks great in photos but even better in real life. It was so nice to stay in a freshly restored cottage but definitely not a cookie cutter decor. I also loved the town. I enjoyed a hot chocolate at Karkoo and great meal at the Oakbank hotel all within walking distance. Definitely recommend"
