"The place was exactly as depicted in the pictures - fresh, clean, cozy, comfortable, serene with a gorgeous view! The reason I'm only giving it an overall rating of 4, is because: 1 - There's no bathtub (yes, the description clearly states shower only - but come on! e/o loves a bath after a tiring day..) 2 - There is a raised stone slab on the floor where the fireplace should be. "What a nice weekend away in the Catskills. Brendan the host was incredibly warm and welcoming. The bed in our room was very comfortable, furnishings were thoughtfully placed and the house was beautiful. Absolutely loved the front porch and the shower in our room. Can’t wait to stay again. So affordable as well. "
