"We spent 3 nights in the cabin. It is located on a farm on the John Day River. The cabin is roomy, with comfortable furniture to include a very comfortable bed - my key need for any place to stay. Everything you need is included. The owners are really nice and were great to talk to. They have 3 wonderful dogs. It was the best VRBO place that we have ever stayed in. I highly recommend it."

"Amazing, quiet area with a couple perfect tables outside. One under shade and one not . The rooms were perfect size and AC was fantastic. A scenic route is nearby too! Definitely would stay here again!"

"It was so nice! The house was spotless and it had all the modern comforts you would expect. The views around the property were breath taking. The NIGHT SKY! wow. We sat on the deck loungers at night. It was the first time my kids got to see the milky way and so many satellites zooming by we lost count. During our stay we drove to the painted hills one day and the canyon the next. It was perfect. Beds were supper comfy and the grounds are well kept. The host even had a brownie for us waiting upon arrival. Also check out is a comfy 1 PM! supper nice of them. "

"We booked last minute, so our options were limited. We got word that one ac wasn’t writing about 20 minutes before our arrival. BUT the house is built in such a way, that you can prop open the doors and get a nice cross breeze. A lovely wind comes through in the evenings, and these combine to make it quite pleasant. The kitchen was well stocked. The atmosphere is lovely and peaceful. (The nearest Walmart is 2.5 hrs away so stock up beforehand.) The host was the most helpful and communicative I’ve ever had. The sunsets are incredible and the amount of stars you can see is breathtaking. The river nearby is cool and clear. I honestly have zero complaints. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The four stars for accuracy was only bc of the untimely loss of the one ac unit but I’m not even mad. This house in this location was perfect. "
