La cuisine locale est excellente et faite avec les légumes bio du jardin permaculture qu'on a visite. Toutes les chambres donnent sur la jungle et la literie est vraiment la plus confortable qu'on ait pu avoir depuis le debut de notre trip au Sri Lanka. Tout prêt des spots de rafting. "I went with my wife and four year old daughter. 6km small Road to the hotel is horrible. Need a high clearance vehicle. My honda fit nearly escaped any damages. Otherwise the stay was superb. Location is unique.rooms were great. Food was ok,slightly more expensive than similar class hotels,may be because of the location, wifi is terrible.my Dialog mobile had moderate level of signals,but no 3G. "Close to bus stop on Hatton-Avissawella road. Faded glory, but very pleasant dining area, lobby and lawn overlooking river in which you can swim- but carefully as in the middle it flows fast. Non AC rooms are large with effective fan. Lots of whitewater rafting in area. You are in lowland so can be very warm."

"Do not do business with this hotel. This hotel cancelled my reservation without notifying me before my stay. They overbooked the entire hotel and had no more rooms left even after having a booking confirmation number and payment. They also wouldn't refund me even after I wasn't able to stay there. It took 3 weeks to get my money back after many calls with them. I wouldn't ever stay here. There is however a bungalow house nearby that I'd absolutely recommend instead of this hotel. "

"The lodge is located in a secluded area. It would be perfect for families or groups to use the entire property for themselves. As a solo traveler not so good unless you prefer solitude. Gamigi the steward who runs the property is very attentive and helpful. I had 2 good breakfast and a very good traditional Sri Lanka food for dinner. I enjoyed my brief stay. My room was very large with a large bathroom and air conditioning. It was very comfortable and quiet ;)"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Norwood Bungalow. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was quite large and full of amenities. The meals were delicious. There were a variety of choices. The staff here were lovely and helpful. They made our stay welcoming. The tea trails around the bungalow offered amazing view of the tea estate. They were easy walks and worthwhile. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay in Sri Lanka, we recommend staying here."

"The staff were so kind and could not do enough for us. A lovely welcome drink of fresh juice. Amazing views from the dining room and pool area. Buffet breakfast was substantial and international. If you are driving, the hotel is at the top of a hill and the roads are challenging. Would definitely recommend the hotel."
