Okay where do I start? My room was clean and the cleaning staff is good and nice but aside from that People was Fighting almost every day someone in different room, one of them called the cops. Doors keep slamming all times of the night waking me up, kids was racing down the hall,dogs was barking. I just couldn't get any rest or peace for my whole stay. I also seen 2 roaches while I was there. The staff is ok but the people who stay there are very noisy.

Property is as advertised, It’s convenient, close to everything Detroit it’s clean,very quiet and cannot be beat for the price If you’re looking for the Ritz Carlton Hotel for a family vacation, this is not it , But if you’re looking for a clean safe place to lay your head this is the most bang for your buck.

Renovation of this property is very good. I could tell that the property is relatively new. Not much staff during my stay but the guy who checked me in was very polite and courteous. I'll be booking my next hotel stay again.

The building was under construction, but still remained rather clean. The blankets/ comforter was very thin and not very warm, but the room was clean and spacious. I was disappointed that there was no breakfast as was advertised. That was one of the reasons I selected this property and was frustrated when it was not available.

If you have a tight budget this is place works.

The room was clean; we stayed a week and changed our own sheets. They didn't have housekeepers daily. There was no coffee pot in the room; you have to ask for towels, sheets toilet paper and sheets. It wasn't too bad, the people were friendly. The room is clean and nice. The hall way, elevator not so clean, needed sweeping and vacuum. The bed wasn't comfortable.

When we entered the lobby to check in, we found the manager behind the counter and a guest in the lobby yelling, screaming and cursing at each other. We listened to this for few minutes, then decided to leave. However, the manager told us to stay that we could check in shortly. They continued yelling at each other. There was a maintenance person came over to us and took us into a small room off from the lobby. He offered us coffee and a snack. However, we could still hear what was going on in the lobby. Finally, 15 to 20 minutes, it quieted down. We made our way to the desk to check in. The manager apologized for the outburst. I'm not sure that was enough. We were then told they didn't have any rooms available with kitchens. We reserved and paid for a kitchen. He then told us that if we waited for a little bit, he would try to find one. We left and then returned a couple of hours later. They found a room with a kitchen on the second floor. We went up to our room to find it looked as if it was in the process of being remodeled. There we no towel racks in the bathroom, the plumbing under the sink was visible, no counter space on the bathroom sink and no toilet tissue roller.There was also no closet or place to hang clothes. There was no dresser to put clothes in.The kitchen had no counter space.We were told the didn't provide cutlery or dishes any more. There is a sign in the elevator that says they provide fully functional kitchens. We won't be returning to this hotel.
