The property itself looks amazing. Beautifully maintained. While the room itself (superior king) was clean, spacious and modern. It did not give upscale resort vibes. Would definitely stay again. Best steak I’ve had in a long time from Five Steakhouse!

The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The hotel was beautiful and luxurious and definitely worth another stay. The daytime staff was friendly and kind and welcoming. The nighttime staff was a little off putting but maybe she was having a bad day. Just felt like we were bothering her. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people looking for a nice little getaway.

The Room phones were not charged and ready to use. The staff sent an Engineer up right away to fix the issue. The Espresso Machine was a little quirky. Need to have some smaller pillows. All the pillows were huge. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. 4.8 out of 5.0

Enjoy staying here very unique venue everything was clean on the property itself are only problems was as far as the cleaning crew for the rooms I had to ask to get her room cleaned and beds made rest of the staff was very good very Scenic area

This property was fantastic. We definitely look forward to staying there again. It was such a wonderful experience. It was so clean, the grounds and property were amazing. We had dinner in the pub and the food and staff were outstanding. The staff within the hotel were friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was great. It is a luxury hotel and had a peaceful atmosphere. Looking forward to return soon.

The word that comes to mind during my resent stay at St. John's Resort is: Surprise!! A1 facility, beautiful grounds, amazing staff, my room was impeccable! But what drove it home is the concept which funds charities from hotel's proceeds. Great stay! Congrats!!

This hotel earns every one of its 5 stars - it's THE most beautiful property in all of the metro Detroit area. The rooms are spacious and well outfitted, containing everything a guest needs for a stress-free stay (including Molton Brown bath soaps and shampoos), a Nespresso machine, a 'mighty but small' microwave, a fridge, fantastic night-light lighting in the bathroom (just in case!), the most comfortable mattresses and outstanding bedding this world traveler has ever experienced. The steak house restaurant in the main property serves fantastic breakfasts (I'm heading back to the resort this week, so will try dinner there this time). The hotel grounds are beautiful and manicured (and I'm sure the golf course, on site, is also fantastic, but I had no time to play golf on my last trip there). As a former seminary, there is a breathtaking chapel in the complex - and the number of weddings held there should indicate what a special place this is. I'm never staying anywhere again when I come to visit family in this area.

This place has a great atmosphere for relax. Elegant, cleand and quiet. Thre restaurants to chose good food. Higlhly recomended for a geat away weekend. We used it because we had an event near by. So it was only one night. Next time we stay longer for sure.

The room was clean and very comfortable. We had a nice stay at your hotel. The staff was usually helpful when we had questions or needed assistance. Our only note would be the “amenities” offered was the golf course, which we didn’t use. The property is called a resort but there were no resort offers such as a spa. We would still recommend this place to our friends and family. Thank you!

I don't have enough great things to say about this place. Emaculate from the room to the grounds around it. Cardinal Golf Course was truly a gem and the par 3 course and putting course were so much fun. Restaurants on-site were wonderful also. Can't wait to get back here, so we're planning a trip in the fall!
