"The motel was nice, comfortable, and clean. Walls felt a little thin, but no issues. The location was convenient for us. We had a lovely conversation with a couple of other guests over breakfast. Pickings were a little thin over breakfast on Thursday morning. The desk clerk said they do a bigger breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings."

"We have stayed here many times and love this property. Its within a couple of minutes to the river, restaurants, grocery, gas stations, basically everything you need. It is always clean and comfortable. The furniture and beds are homey and comfortable. Big screen in LR and tvs in each bedroom. Washer and dryer is a nice touch. My kids enjoy the electronic goft game. That tends to be where they’re hanging out.. Outside seating with a gas grill, fire pit, additional seating under the garage overhang with a tv in there a well. Communication with the owner has always been easy and he replies promptly. Easy check-in.There is an occasional train that goes by, but they never bother us! Thank you for another wonderful stay!"

"We loved our stay. The place was very clean when we arrived and it had everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing both in the sitting area watching Netflix and on the lovely outdoor porch. There's a fire pit and a nice grill. It was perfect for our party of two close friends. As others have written, you have to go through the larger bedroom to get to the bathroom. The smaller bedroom does have its own exterior door. This was not an issue for us, but for this reason it may be less than ideal for two couples or a larger friend group. Would recommend to two or three close friends or a small family!I would stay here again if I'm in the area. We also really enjoyed the Shipwreck bar, steps away."

"We’ve stayed here previously and the dart board & barrel table/stools in front porch were a great addition! Beds are comfortable with plenty of blankets & pillows provided! We did learn from previous that we need bring a room fan at night to drown out the sound of train few blocks away…it was just enough for me as a light sleeper!"
