Nauvoo Temple House Hotel

"The room was very clean, and even though it was summer and hot, the room was a pleasant temperature. The hotel rooms are up steep steps, so it can be challenging if you are older (like us) and have to carry big suitcases upstairs. When you stay here, you have to keep in mind that Nauvoo is a very small place, and there are not the amenities you might expect in a large city. Check in was down the street at another facility, but the woman at the check in was very kind. There are not many places to eat in Nauvoo, but the restaurant below the hotel has wonderful food. Nauvoo just needs more people to invest in it and help to provide more services to visitors, although Nauvoo really is a seasonal town."
