"This property was very clean inside and looked just like the pictures. Very nicely updated. The bed could use some updating. If you take your dog this time of year, be aware...there are MANY sticker burrs around the outside of the cabin! The only other warning is: the river is not that easy to access if you are older (we are 70). You can drive across the road but then you have to walk over very large rocks and debris just to get down to the water. Once you get there the water is BEAUTIFUL AND REFRESHING and a perfect place to sit and chill."

"House was clean and very well stocked. We enjoyed the barbecue pit, the fire pit, and sitting on the front porch. The host was very responsive and forthcoming. We went into Leakey to go tubing one day. The only wish we had was that the river near the house was more visible and accessible."

"House ReviewWe had a wonderful stay! The house is tucked away in a peaceful, private rural area, which was perfect for our family and pets. The river was just a short drive away, and we practically had it all to ourselves! The water was beautiful and perfect for enjoying the day.We had such a great time and would definitely recommend staying here. Christy was also wonderful—she was quick to respond anytime I had questions. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Our family went to Genesis Springs Ranch for my husband's 60th birthday get-away. It was a magical weekend! The accommodations are top-notch with everything you can ever want and more. Our guide, Levi, was extremely knowledgeable with all sorts of amazing animal facts and history. We have never seen such incredible animals - it was like animal kingdom all weekend! Our younger son also went fishing in the amazing ponds and that was unexpected to have such a fun fishing experience also. Will go back as often as possible - star gazing was the greatest we have seen in many years from this property. Gorgeous country - don't pass up a chance to get to go! The oryx we got from the hunt, was massive - such a great time all around!"

"We enjoyed our stay! The river was absolutely beautiful after the recent rains (July 2026). We went down to the closest water crossing where the water was flowing pretty good and had the best time. The kids (2y-11y) loved exploring, swimming, and floating. The house was perfect for our group. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of space. The hosts were incredibly attentive to us and we appreciated their quick replies for some things came up. We would definitely stay again!"
