"What an absolute treasure. Nestled in a quiet area, with excellent amenities, our room was clean & spacious and within walking distance to restaurant facilities within the complex. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Being located in a quiet area, our stay was restful. We highly recommend the bistro within the complex. "A modern hôtel with a great bathroom facilities and a very good bed. The fridge is a little small but not a big issue. The AC was a bit of a mystery with the room warming up during the night - I should have inquired about this occurrence. The food in the restaurant was very good. Avoid the automatic coffee machine at breakfast- not great. Overall, despite the above comments, I was very happy with this hotel."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Formby. It was good value for the price. The room was clean and spacious, the parking convenient. The staff were friendly. Only one complaint was the shower which kept on going hot and cold. There is a washing machine which is great, even better would be the addition of a dryer. The downstairs bar had a great vibe and the restaurant was so popular it was booked out, which must be a sign it's good. We plan to stay again next time we are in Devonport."

"Large and spacious upstairs unit perfect for families. Despite being the middle of winter was well heated and flooded with morning sun which made it very comfortable! Loved being able to bring our dog with great nearby tracks for walks."
