"Worth the price"

"I’ve stayed at Courtyards previously and this was not the best. Others had breakfast buffets with a charge. This had an area with Starbucks coffee and a very limited selection. The room was spacious and well equipped. My wife and I don’t like to have daily maid service for a three night stay, so we keep the do not disturb tag on the door. On day one the liquid soap dispenser was empty which I believe should have been filled before our arrival. I tried to use the coffee on morning one, and while the water got hot, it wasn’t pulling the water through the tube to the coffee filter. I was almost scalded by the steam coming from the machine. I decided that coffee wasn’t a necessity and reported the problem when I checked out. The shower was aesthetically pleasing but the water flow was horrible. If you wanted a cold shower the pressure was great, but as you increased the temperature the flow decreased and it was difficult to find a happy middle. I know some people like a firm mattress, but this wasn’t just firm, it was uncomfortable. "

"Pros: Alexander is a great host. When I got there, the cleaning people had left the wrong key and he had them there in less than 5 minutes. He was very nice about the fact that I had accidentally unplugged the router from the wall when I plugged a charger into the power strip behind the couch and shut off internet for all of the units. The unit is tiny but it served our needs. The living room furniture is super comfy. The beds were good but the first bedroom could use some better pillows. Checkout is super easy.Cons: only 4 bath towels for 3 people and a 4 night stay, only one hand towel, and there were no wash cloths. The toaster only works if you push the button down hard and hold it. We didn’t report it because we were only cooking breakfast one of the mornings we were there. There is only “ample” street parking if you get there during the day. At night, it is a problem. Overall, I would say the best things for us was the host, the location, and the value for the price."
