"Plus points was one of the pools that we enjoyed (the other slide pool water was very dirty), a comfy bed, quiet area, and staff are very nice and helpful. The hotels bad points are.... Not ready to be open. Alot of work needs doing. Communal areas in disrepair. Beach bar not functioning as being renovated , same for the beach jetty sunlounge area. Rooms dated & no shade on terrace. Room mosquitoes a big issue & also in general indoor areas. Booked as all inclusive....food was terrible! Also...

Maya World Hotel Didyma - Ultra All Inclusive

"I guess I have been spoiled by the all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico. The resort staff are very helpful and friendly to guest, however the front desk staff needs training on customer relations. I had a problem with the room safe not working and spoke to the front desk. They told me the bell boy will take care of it. The bell boy came and looked at the safe and determined the batteries are dead. He asked me to wait while he went for new batteries. After an hour wait he did not show up and I went down to the beach. O went to the front desk and spoke to the night manager and he said he will take care of it. I ask on instructions on how to operate the safe and was told the bell boy is the only one with that information and he has gone for the day. He said he will get him over when he gets back in the next day. I am still waiting for the bell boy to show up. The food was good but it seems to be recycled from lunch to dinner and back. Other than the one incident with the room safe I had a good stay. I did not use the pool as the water was freezing at 68 degrees. The beach was the same temperature so I stayed out of the water there also. There were lots of sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. It would be nice if the resort partners with transportation to get guests to and from the airport. We did not see that option when reserving our stay there. Night time entertainment was lacking."

"We stayed in a two bedroom/one bathroom suite (2 adults and 3 kids). Housekeeping was very clean and kind. They made swan towels and hearts on our bed and left us fruit and wine and sweets in our room. The water park is fun for kids and adults (including toddlers) but the water is cold. The main pool is heated, which was very nice. But it was just a bit small and the water itself wasn’t the cleanest. I wish the water filters were more effective. The beach was the biggest disappointment for us because it was a rocky beach with moss. It wasn’t soft sand. But the resort maintained their private area very well. The food wasn’t the best (except for breakfast which was amazing) but there is a lot of variety. I personally did not like the meat and chicken (it was very smelly and had a weird texture) but there are a lot of vegetarian dishes. The entertainment was amazing. We stayed for a week and experienced a festival, mini disco, live band, Kenya acrobats (very cool), bouncy castle in the pool. Overall I would recommend if you’re looking for a well rounded but more affordable and modest experience (not luxury). There is a lot of places to eat scattered around the resort, and there are also smaller pools in some of the suite block areas which are a bit further from the main pool. I would have gotten those room but my kids liked the main pool more."

"Food and restaurant concepts quality as well menu offerings. Very low quality and confusing with allot of name of the inches doesn’t correctly represent the food being served . They try to make the best out if it but for the food they get 3 out of 10. They need lots of work to do"

"Great location ( by the beach ) all inclusive gives relaxing options and opportunities. Hotel views on upper floors are amazing . Food is fresh and great many options for the visitors for all ages but for locals noting to rave about ( as expected ) . For the online price point , location (15 min walk from the main board walk shopping and restaurant) and amenities you can’t beat it !!! We definitely will stay next time visiting Didim from USA 🇺🇸!"
