The elaborately renovated, listed farmhouse in Riederau am Ammersee (BJ 1770) with 360 sqm of living space is the jewel for the guest with a sense for the special and well known as the Stohrerhof. With its 14 rooms, 5 fireplaces, a 1000 square meter garden, its historic chapel and many extras, you will not miss anything. Jetty, lido and of course the Ammersee are within walking distance of 10 minutes from the courtyard. 3 restaurants are in the immediate vicinity in the village. Hiking and cycling trails start right on the doorstep.
The impressive, charming house: Even when you stand in front of this stately founding courtyard in Riederau and the beautiful historic front door opens you get the feeling of having arrived at a special place. Here you can directly feel that the modern and the past have been carefully and convincingly combined.
The spacious hall (22sqm) on the ground floor with direct and indirect lighting and central smoke detectors as well as USM Haller shelves, offers direct access to all rooms. In addition to the bright cloakroom (5sqm) with a shoe cleaning machine, you can go directly into the historic farmhouse parlor (28sqm) with its beautiful basic oven, jukebox, games and a large parlor table (for up to 16 people), which was created from the ancient planks of the parlor floor, stop off. All furniture has been lovingly designed by outstanding carpenters. The chairs were custom-made, especially for this room, of the highest quality, individually manufactured. In this house we have left nothing to chance. We attach particular importance to the historical demolition of this room with its old wooden ceiling and the original farmhouse door from the 18th century. placed.
The modern and fully equipped carpenter's kitchen (20sqm) with high-quality kitchen appliances connects directly to the room. From the spacious hall you can also reach one of our bedrooms (30sqm) with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00) and a single bed (0.90 x 2.00) with direct access to the large 1,000 sqm garden . This is followed by the tasteful bathroom (8sqm) with underfloor heating and a towel dryer, which is tiled with the highest quality Canadian green slate. In addition to the shower with Dornbracht fittings, the exclusive onyx washbasin is also impressive. High quality towels are of course available for every guest.
The former chamber (13 sqm) of the estate is our third cozy bedroom with a comfortable double bed (1.60 x 2.00). This also borders on the tasteful bathroom (8 sqm) with underfloor heating and towel dryer, which is tiled with the highest quality Canadian green slate.
You can use the washing machine and dryer on the ground floor and in the penthouse in case the holiday wardrobe you bring with you should run out. Vacuum cleaners are also available.
The historic wooden staircase takes you directly to the stately upper floor with another four rooms. The light-flooded hallway provides direct access to the beautiful and bright bedroom / living room (28sqm) with two high-quality Lambert lobby armchairs and an exclusive sofa bed by Franz Fertig (1.80 x 2.00) and timeless USM Haller shelves. In addition to the high-quality music system (Bluetooth capable of connecting any smartphone or tablet) with impressive designer boxes, there is of course also a high-quality record player and a CD changer with an extensive CD collection, as well as games for the family. The fireplace in this room invites you to many cozy hours with a cozy glass of wine. Firewood is provided in sufficient quantities directly at the house. The penthouse has two double beds (1.80 x 2.00) specially designed by our carpenter, two bathrooms, a shower and a separate kitchen. The completely glazed gable end gives you a wonderful view and the beautiful fireplace invites you to spend cozy hours by the fire.
The garden And of course we don't want to forget the over 1,000 m², particularly beautiful farm garden with old trees, lots of flowers and the two large terraces, which you can also access directly from the kitchen. Of course, a professional gas grill is available to entertain your friends. The eye-catcher is our traid box from 1695, as well as the Asian loungers and lights in the garden area. Seating is available in three different places for all guests in the garden or on the terraces. The large parasols protect you from the hot sun if necessary.
