Dinosaur Store and Museum

Someone was pounding on my door late at night and then hiding from the keyhole. This happened several times and eventually they started pounding on the adjoining room door, and trying to open it. I called the front desk where I was routed to an offsite switchboard and placed in queue with an AI bot. I called from both my room phone and my cell phone with the same results. I finally told the bot that I would simply have to call the police (I believed on site security would respond faster than the police- not the case). That is when I was patched to an "urgent" desk and finally to someone on site. It took nearly 20 minutes for someone to come up to the room. I eventually ascertained that these were youth playing pranks, but they continued this activity and abnormally loud partying till after 1 am. When hotel staff checked back in with me later, I let them know that this noise was still unacceptable, but they did not do anything to resolve this.

We enjoyed the convenience of the amenities and the shuttle to Universal was only 10 minutes. The rooms were clean and pretty quiet. The pool was great with lifeguards, life jackets for the littles and a sand area for kids to play. The pool was big and clean and fresh towels were also available. We booked ahead and got a deal, we would go back.
