"We booked as an overnight stop on a long drive so we were grateful for a good room and an easy location not far from the main route we were travelling. We were grateful to find a good hotel that was dog friendly as we were travelling with our Cocker Spaniel. The room was a little worn in places but otherwise a very good stay. "Anna our host was excellent and welcoming . The rural hotel is fully air conditioned so no probs in v hot weather . Nice bar in the “cellar” and prices are very reasonable - we paid apprx £122 for the bed room, pre dinner drinks and dinner with a bottle of local wine and breakfast = result !! "
