Valhalla Hotel & Conference Centre
8/10 Good
"Pretty pleasant hotel with a nice ambiance. Nice restaurant. Parking is not lit very well at night. The noise isolation is very bad: could hear neighbors in the adjacent room talking, and neighbors from the above thumping and doing some other funny stuff. AC was quite noisy too."
Cozy Country Inn-country in the City. 3 bdm 2 bath home- renovated like new.
10/10 Excellent
"Mike was wonderful to deal with and the place was very cozy as advertised. I definitely would book this place again."

"Room was amazing. Clean. Lots of coffee available. Double shuttles for overflow from the airport were in service. This is the place to stay when in town. Shopping nearby. Would refer patrons to this locale."
Home2 Suites By Hilton Thunder Bay

Best Western Plus Nor'wester Hotel & Conference Centre
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed here for a little family "staycation". The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a "mountain view" room and it was a lovely view! The pool was great. It was a nice size and temperature. I have to say, the staff was THE BEST. From the front desk to the pool attendants to the restaurant, everyone was super friendly! The included breakfast was amazing! This was not your boring every day buffet. This was a full breakfast menu! Highly recommend staying here!"
Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Thunder Bay

"I didn’t realize I had two separate bookings and they did such a great job of just keeping the stuff in my room and just working it out for me. Really appreciate it your attention to detail."
Beautiful Lake House for Rent
10/10 Excellent
"Remember the time you thought the VRBO rental would be sensational…but then it wasn’t? That is NOT the case with this incredible home. The setting is pristine… it looks out on a bay of nearby Lake Superior which makes it great for a canoe, kayak or just swimming from its lovely beach. The outside deck covers the backside of the house and is well equipped with both a picnic table and a glass topped table. There is also plenty of comfortable seating. My family especially enjoyed the hot tube and sauna for unwinding after the beautiful hikes available in the area. Then there’s the house. Windows to the outdoors are across the back and front of the house so it is light drenched and welcoming. The rooms are generously sized and we enjoyed many meals in the spacious dining room. The kitchen is a true cook’s dream. It is well equipped with anything you need, from utensils to spices. There are two full bathrooms, each with a rainfall water head and sprayer. (Inside note…one of the bathrooms is located off the kitchen and because the door to the laundry room was open and covering the entrance, it took us a day to realize it was there!)Bedrooms are well sized and beds are comfortable. I slept on the futon in the library and it was also comfortable. Then there’s Lucy. Her communication is awesome. She responds to any inquiry quickly and makes you feel welcomed without being intrusive. This is the real deal … a lovely, well appointed home in an incredible place."
5 STARS! LAKE SUPERIOR'S WATERFRONT HAVEN BTWN THUNDER BAY & GRAND MARAIS & HTUB
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage was perfect. The area was peaceful, relaxing, and quiet. The view was spectacular. It was everything we wanted for a week long getaway. The cottage was immaculately clean and had all new appliances. There were plenty of entertainment options (games, DVDs, and internet tv) for rainy days. The beds were comfortable and made it easy to sleep a little too long. Carolyn, the host, responded promptly to all of our questions and kept us well informed. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back. We have nothing but good things to say about our stay."
