Cute little house - with everything you need. Nice, quiet location. Loved the hardwood floors. Easy check in and out, convenient location for our visit to Governor Dodge State Park. Perfect little home.

Cute historic home

We had such a great stay in this little home in Dodgeville. The house was so cute and clean and comfortable. The washer acted up while we were there, and the owners were quick to respond to the issue and sent a repairman right away.

This was a cute cottage, located in a nice area with nice sidewalks to walk around. Communication with host was fine. We found the cottage very dirty. We would walk barefoot and have black feet soon after. There were pans that were unwashed and in the cupboard. We found a mouse eating off our dishes shortly after dinner and it jumped off the counter behind the stove when discovered. They definitely need to update a few things as well. Would be nice if the back patio table wasn’t all rusted so we could actually sit out there. We only had 1 kitchen chair to sit in, and the table was wobbly, picture showed 2. The bathroom was very nice and updated. Overall, would be a 3/5 stay.

Great stay with minor suggestions

For the most part everything was lovely upon arrival and during our stay. There were only a few minor suggestions that would help make this the perfect getaway. 1) Owner needs to provide entrance instructions at least a week in advance to guest(s). 2) Blinds needed cleaning. 3) No cutting board was available. 4) For older adults, steps down to kitchen need to be more visibly defined as they blend with the color of the flooring and are hard to decipher when utilized. 5) Smaller rugs throughout are very slippery. 6) Oven was quite dirty. Overall, the place was in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance of the downtown. Would consider a return stay providing above issues were amended. Thank you!
