Welcome to Main St BnB! Our location is the perfect spot for your needs! We are conveniently located close to town. Just 3 miles to Michigan Tech and 2 miles to downtown Houghton. Close to Michigan Tech Trails. Access to snowmobile trails! Plenty of parking for snowmobile trailers.

The space
The kitchen has everything you need should you decide to cook including pots and pans, toaster, hand mixer, griddle, mixing bowls, and dishes to name a few. The walk-in pantry is great for those on a longer stay to store your items out of the way. The kitchen/dining area also has a coffee bar with a keurig coffee pot & a few complimentary kcups, creamers and tea to start your day off just right!
On the main floor we have a laundry room, living room, kitchen with dining area, three bedrooms and two full bathrooms.
The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and a small private office room should you need to work away from home! Off of the master bathroom is a small deck to enjoy the sounds of nature! Also in the master bathroom is a mini sauna! Pour on the steam and cool off on the deck.
Spacious basement for kids to play including a playhouse & toys. The basement has two bedrooms and a half bath for your use. Also in the basement is an area for winter gear to be hung to enjoy the next days adventures outdoors. The backyard is perfect for yard games and has a set of swings for the kids! Feel free to park your vehicle or snowmobiles in the attached garage during the winter months.

TV in living room and master room are smart TVs and wifi is available

A beautiful home with a well-stocked kitchen and more than enough space for our group of 4 adults. It was clean and quiet - and the hosts were very responsive. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in the backyard, enjoyed a bonfire, and were in a nice proximity to Houghton and Hancock.

The area of the property was a perfect spot with so much sightseeing with in a reasonable distance. The house was great and communicating with the owners of the property was easy and they responded quickly. I would definitely stay there again

5 day houghton get-away

there were 3 couples in our group, everyone had a great time. due to lack of snow could not leave from house, having 2 driveways made getting in and out a breeze. the couple that stayed in basement said,"was a little chilly", used an electric heater from trailer to take the chill away. Awesome house will stay there again!!!

Fantastic. Room to spread out and close to everything

We had 7 people stay in the house for a week's summer vacation. 3 Married generations (grand parents, parents, daughter & husband) and an 18 year old. Plenty of room to spread out into the bedrooms, but great common areas in kitchen, dinning, living room, and outdoor fire pit patio. Kitchen was fantastic: well stocked with pots, spices, etc. Double oven and large 5 burner stove helped with a big group. Separate coffee bar area on other side of kitchen helped remove from congestion in the kitchen. Entire house was well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, soap, etc which helped avoid an emergency run to the store for supplies. House is well maintained. Close to everything but still has an out in the country feel. Stores less than 10 minutes away. Downtown Houghton is 10 minutes and Copper Harbor 1 hour. Would stay again if we come back to this area.

We had plenty of space for our families to stay to attend a wedding. Close to downtown but not in it, this location allowed us to explore Houghton and the Keweenaw Peninsula and come back "home" to relax. Family members especially enjoyed watching the deer who frequented the backyard.

Great Time!

Amazing stay in Dodgeville. Beautiful house, with all the amenities. Quiet stay, safe neighborhood, with plenty of parking. All 5 adults could shower and never ran out of hot water. WiFi worked flawlessly as some of us had to work from vacation. Beds were comfy and house was really clean. We only wish we had more time to enjoy their beautiful quiet getaway.

UP snowmobile trip

The house was perfect for our group of 6, plenty of room for all of us and our gear. Lot’s of room for two trucks and trailers and there’s a trail access right across the street.

MTU

We needed a place for 3 generations in order to attend mid-winter graduation at MTU.Property is short distance to the University yet in quiet neighborhood. House is very clean, and well appointed.

Football Weekend

This was a wonderful location for us! We were up for our son's football game. We loved the closeness to the stadium and the house was great. We made good use of the fire pit outside. Thanks for a great weekend!!

Freshman move in weekend

Shared house with another family from our area. Plenty of room for both our families. Living room and kitchen were plenty big enough for us all to spend time together. Beautiful fire pit outside. Parking was easy. This place made us feel at home on a weekend with high emotions. It was also close to campus and quiet.

Wonderful home close to MTU!

This was a perfect “home base” for moving our student into the Elements apartments. The location was perfect, the home was clean and comfortable, and the owners had everything set up for us. Would absolutely stay here again!
