Travel time from the airport to the hotel was less than 20 minutes. The hotel is very close to the Souq Waqif. I had a little more than 10 hour wait at the airport before my connecting flight. I opted for the comforts of the Kingsgate as opposed to waiting 10 plus hours at the airport for my next flight. I was able to visit the Souq Waqif, rest in a comfortable bed, sleep, and have a nice shower before returning to the airport.
