We had a really good stay at this hotel. Everything was brilliant overall. The breakfast was good, the place was clean, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The staff made the experience even better — they were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Elizabeth at the entrance and Noura in the dining area, as well as the other team members whose names I unfortunately can’t recall. We’ve been very happy with our stay here and would recommend this hotel for a pleasant and comfortable experience.

Nice accommodation, great size family rooms, which are very clean and well stocked with water and hot drinks. Position of the hotel is great, convenient for most things, and the beach is immaculate. Restaurants offer excellent options, the kids club is small but very well run by Sarah and her team, thank you for your kind care. For a quiet and convenient Middle East family break this is effortless and ticks most boxes.

I paid a premium price expecting a private beach. Whilst that was the case. Just across the beach was a construction site. With several cranes and heavy drilling and banging throughout the day. Ruined the experience and I had to attempt the noise out using headphones but even that wasn't working. Very upset indeed. Furthermore I paid for a hotel with spa access. I got a pool which was simply too cold to swim in and a sauna which was out of order. Again not what I paid a premium for. All in all ruined the whole experience.

Outstanding stay. Our second time coming back to the Kempinski, the moment the valet open our car doors - we are greeted like family (even tho weve never met). The service here is impecabble - and not forced at all. Check in experience was great, she asked me lots of questions to understand our needs and then let me know what was in our package that we would benefit from. I LOVED talking to Sara at the Kids Club - so genuine and good with kids. We love the pool layout at the Kempinski - its a weird one i know- but the layout is perfect for kids and tired adults supervising. Plus theres always a great buzz and vibe at the pool area. The valet team are really cool - my 1 year old was obsessed with their novel buggy at the front - i let him play on it and they actually took us for a spin round the resort in it - they even stopped outside the giant horse and took pics for us. Well priced and amazing experience and service - not to mention you feel like youre in an Arabian palace.

The property is situated on a man-made island in the city. As such, there are not many restaurants or shops nearby serving local cuisine. We were told that we could walk to shopping but were not certain how to get there. As such, our stay had a healthy dose of Uber. That said, the food at the hotel was great. So too was the enthusiastic attitude and support of the staff whom we had a chance to meet. No matter the question, the staff always responded with a smile. In particular, I think the efforts of Praneesh, Adnane, Hanna, and Brenda were especially noteworthy. A nice thing about the property is that is it has a beachh. This is a nice feature for those warm Doha days!

Glad to be home......

Despite appearances, luxurious it is not! If you enjoy a hotel that lets in masses of day guests to use the hotel beach and swimming pools like a kids water park then this is the hotel for you. It may be rated as 5 star but you only need to scratch the surface to see how poor the quality of service offered and how dirty and shabby the hotel is. Also beware of your credit card hold when you check in because its not a hold! They debit the whole amount and if you haven't reached that limit you have to wait a fortnight for the difference to be credited back to your card.

I LOVED this hotel! From my inital check-in to my check-out. I traveled here on a solo birthday celebration from the US. Upon my entry there were measures to insure safety of the building and its occupants. Security was placed throughout the the lobby and other common areas to make sure everything remained that way as the world cup would be starting the following week. The staff that provided my meals and cleaned up my room ALWAYS went above and beyond. Hand written notes from them and complimentary cake and wine/sangria to help me celebrate was truly special, considerate or thoughtful. Balbina and her staff were amazing, I am truly grateful! I then had the pleasure of recieving a few services from the top rated " Spa by Clarins" with Arista who was meticulous, professional and had such a warm demeanor that I was immediately comfortable. The Renewal Body Polisher and Hot Stone Massage that literally had me feeling renewed, relaxed and rejuvenated my entire trip as I planned the services the morning after I arrived. If I had to add any feedback of critism it would be because it was on an island, transporation to museaums and such are limited so you would need an uber or schedule a transfer with the hotel *which is pricey*. It was suggested to me to walk to the bus to get to the metro. It was hot and i honestly wasn't sure if I was going to right way until I eventually found the bus so I personally wouldn't suggest that. Otherwise, my stay was a 10/10 and I plan to bring family
