Late night check in - done!

I arrived at 0130 and I was very tired, the staff checked me in quickly so I could get to me room, the bed was comfortable and the view when I woke up was unexpected. I would stay again.

The staff was perfect! Every staff member was just very polite, kind, and helpful, especially, Ms. Anne and Soul (the lady from India! I hope I am not misspelling the name!), the guys at the reception and just anybody else! The location and breakfast was so nice; though, the breakfast buffét could have a little more variation! We had a kind of long stay in the hotel and we were kind of tired of the same breakfast.

Helpful staff and spacious room. The breakfast buffet was nice and had decent variety. There was a plumbing issue in my toilet to it was a bit smelly and I saw a tiny cockroach there - I haven't told reception though but whenever I wanted housekeeping, they came immediately. Hotel had busy commercial area just few minutes walking from it and Uber was always 1-2 minutes away from the hotel. Overall, nice experience and I would probably stay there again.

Well well

It’s a nice hotel with very polite staff, they might have a nice breakfast but I didn’t tried that out. They could make a new gym with new things in it . Everything felt outdated unfortunately at the gym. I do think that the metro station is far away, I was taking Uber everywhere because of the heat you couldn’t walk everywhere. Otherwise the hotel is OK but they could renovate and make it better here and there ! Remember if you book this hotel the nearest metro station isn’t close by. It’s sad that they couldn’t offer any free shuttle to the metro station. Didn’t try the pool but it looked good. It’s a OK hotel but it misses something :)..

Overall experience, the avenue hotel was okay. Several complaints is that the bar that was advertised on the booking has been closed for a while. The staff here were very friendly and accommodating, besides one laundry snaffu(they charge per article of clothing BE SURE TO ASK FOR PRICING). The breakfast was good some days and okay others, the hot food was sometimes luke warm and sometimes even cold. It would benefit the hotel if they invested in better hot plates to keep food warm. Pastries in the morning were often stale, wouldn’t be surprised if they were older than 5 plus days. Don’t expect a 5 star hotel as advertised here. I think 3-4 stars is more accurate. For the price though, not a bad experience.
