"Good value for money and friendly host. I would give it 3.5 stars. The property has a lovely garden and view of the lake but best suits someone with a car as there is a limited bus timetable to and from Varenna and is not suitable for walking. We travelled in October so perhaps there may be better transport options in the summer months. The room had everything we needed but could do with some updating."

"Loved our time at this property. We had 14 people and it worked out great. Location so close to the lake was fabulous and we could easily get to the ferry and train stations. Host David was fabulous and always available. Going to Bellagio and Varenna and Mennagio was great since there are no lines at Colico and it is quiet, peaceful and away from tourists at this property. I would recommend and would go back again to this property. Grass area was great for our grandkids to play on and hot tub...

"Das Ferienhaus „Villa Archi“ liegt in einem ruhigen Teil von Colico, ein Stück weit oberhalb des Sees. Das Haus ist sehr gross, in hervorragendem Zustand, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Gastgeber ist charmant und hilfsbereit und die Villa teilt sich mit seinem Haus einen parkähnlichen Garten. "We absolutely LOVED every aspect of this place. Air conditioning ran ice cold which helped a lot during the heat wave. The beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked for a VRBO. The pool was perfect and the view spectacular. The hosts were kind and responded quickly to any inquiries. The walk up to the house is hard if you don’t have a car but you get used to it quickly and honestly I would walk three times as far for that view of the lake. Will definitely stay here again!"

"Tha amount of money we paid on the presidential suite wasn't worth it. The air conditioner was very finicky. It was either too hot or too cold and was very loud. No welcome drink or any welcome stuff for a presidential suite. Nothing spectacular except the view from the terrace. The staff in the dining room and reception/check in were not very welcoming."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The hotel and room were both clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating of all our requests. We loved the beach club with access to the lake and their floating dock as well as their pool. The drinks and food were all delicious. The hotel is a romantic hotel. The town and hotel were a beautiful experience. Highly recommend."

"This hotel is right on Lake Como with a pool on the lake! The views of Mountains & ferries traveling in the central lake area is stunning. The hotel provides an excellent variety of cold breakfast choices the front desk was very helpful. The attached restaurant is a separate business which had a delicious looking menu but there were many other choices in the beautiful plaza in town which seemed less expensive. This hotel is a great memory!!"
