Spend your holiday in this magnificent holiday home with swimming pool and spacious garden, nestled in the splendid surroundings of a historic castle. Situated at the end of a long avenue, this lovingly renovated house welcomes you with a charming atmosphere and inviting outdoor areas, ideal for al fresco dining. Inside, some of the bedrooms on the upper floor offer the luxury of an en-suite bathroom. The path through a garden arch leads you directly to the pool, while the river beach is just a few minutes away.



Domme and the surrounding region invite you to enjoy a variety of experiences. Explore the magnificent gardens around the castle or discover the impressive castles of Beynac and Castelnaud. History buffs will be amazed by the rich culture of the Dordogne, while nature lovers can enjoy the picturesque hiking trails and the course of the river. Older and a bit derelict

The house has a beautiful position, really close to Domme and Vitrac. The pool is amazing and perfect for hot summer days. Unfortunately the house itself would need a little bit more care and love. The sewage system is not in a good condition, it got smelly in the bathrooms and the kitchen sink wasn't working properly. There is no heating system in the house (which is not a problem during the summer) but the thing is the radiators were taken down in the whole house and the tubes were left protruding from the walls. The third bedroom is really small and doesn't look comfortable, it has no window and the furniture seemed to be to old to be used anymore. I also wished there was a newer fridge in the kitchen, the current one was smelly and on all the time - probably really not economical. It all felt a little bit abandoned. However, the keeper was really nice and friendly to us and we had a nice time.
