This hotel is next to a park that has some exercise equipments. We went for a walk before 6am and there were already quite a few locals out there. The staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and big.

I've stayed at Rex Quang Binh Hotel twice. The first time was a nice experience. The room was clean, staff were friendly, surrounding area felt safe with restaurants within walking distance. The second time, the quality of staff and room was great. However, there was really loud music from a nearby restaurant/karaoke bar. I could hear people singing karaoke from my room until 11pm-midnight even with my headphones on. I stayed on a Monday in January... not sure if this is a one-off event or it happens every Monday. Overall a great stay minus the loud signing.

To start with all the staff were super friendly, accommodating n always had a smile on their face. We were upgraded to another room as we were on our honeymoon trip but the staff decorated another room for us, therefore the reception staff upgraded us to that room without any fuss. Even though it’s a newer hotel but it looked quite run down n not well maintained. Also the location is quite far from the downtown area where most of the action happens during evening n night i.e. cafes n restaurants. Overall, the stay was pleasant n comfortable

Gorgeous hotel!! Our room was huge, the room was stunning, the beds were comfy, bathroom was super clean and pretty, breakfast was wonderful. This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at.

Had a great stay at the Rex. Big clean room, comfortable bed, great bathroom. Nice pool upstairs and buffet breakfast had plenty of options. Would stay there again

I was admittedly initially intrigued in this hotel because of the pictures. However, it appears that the pictures are a misrepresentation of this space. Pros: The staff were courteous. The bathroom was nice. The room was large. There was a large quantity of food at the buffet. The lobby was nice. There are amenities such as a spa (I didn’t use) and karaoke (also didn’t use). Cons: -there was little sound insulation throughout the entire hotel -The pool was not at all how it looks in the pictures -There was an ant problem in my room. I understand in this climate some small critters are unavoidable. I wrote the housekeepers a note but there was not much change. They were in my suitcase, clothes, and bed. -outside of fruit and bread, the breakfast buffet doesn’t have food available for non meat eaters. While not a con, the buffet is predominantly food that is Vietnamese/asian. There is not information about what the items are or the ingredients, which can be very confusing for foreigners. The laundry is priced by item and very costly. It cost me 50,000 Dong to have my pajamas laundered (but they are able to send it to a nearby laundromat if you ask, which only charges 30,000/kilo).

The rooms are very clean and the staff are very friendly. Especially Ms Feng was very helpful and speaks English and mandarin well so communication was easy. She help us keep our luggage while we went for 2 day phong nha tour. The staff help us pack breakfast when we had to rush for our 7am train.

Service was good. The cafe downstairs is brilliant for an early morning coffee. Bedroom was perfect and beds were comfy. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling around Vietnam that wants a good place but doesn't want to break the bank

Disappointment. Room had heating instead of AC on - had to change a room late night. Bought a bottle of overpriced wine just to see it being spoilt/oxidised; wanted to find comfort in rock sauna just to find the floor full of small balls that almost killed me while staff didn’t know how to increase temperature past 41 Celsius; was woken up by housekeeping despite do not disturb on my door; finally, was called 30 mins prior to checkout to see if I plan to check out in 30 mins. Highly disappointed.

A bathtube only, no separat shower was a bit strange to us because of splashing water around, making the floor slippery. We enjoyed staying. Friendly staff, exeptional breakfast offering.

The receptionist knows all information about my question, very clever. Although in the first night, strange electric motor sound for 10 minutes made me wake up twice, other times were calm.
