"Very nice room, only thing possibly missing was a desk (some other rooms have them), but I didn't need one anyway. Staff very helpful when I needed anything. Free pool table, snacks, coffee downstairs. Didn't check out the gym, bar or restaurant though. At the time of writing, google maps plots two locations for "Episode Hsinchu", and one is wrong! Make sure you look for hotel episode hsinchu. Area not too interesting, but cabs aren't expensive anyway. There's a ubike stand right outside which...

The room I stayed in was smoking (though I specified non-smoking and that might be more important to some) and they tried to charge me for extra for the room because it showed up as a double room (but I was alone) when I arrived.
