"The villa sits on the hill side. The view of construction area from balcony is not nice. This resort is right on Sukhumvit rd. after the intersection lights so becareful if you drive. To check in, You have to contact the Rimpu Hill coffee shop that is also the resort office. There is a parking dirt lot near the villa area. The villa is not small for 3 people. plenty space cloth storage but only couple hangers. Dusty bed headboard only fridge and cabled tv, no microwave or kitchenary. shower...

"I wasn’t very impressed by this property, online I read great reviews so I was hoping for a great experience. Upon pulling in I was underwhelmed by the entrance as it’s shared with a mall and not a particularly nice one. We checked in and the lobby area is nice, they offer some complimentary infused waters and such. The pool area is very nice as is the breakfast. What wasn’t nice was the room and the hallway to the room, I was shocked when I got up the elevator and realized the hallways were outdoors like a motel. Next we went to the room and the age of the room immediately showed. The bathroom in particular was not nice at all, gross grout patch, a dated tub with soap scum and mildew, blinds in the shower(very strange), the TV doesn’t support Netflix or streaming from your phone so be prepared to watch local Thai TV at night. The beach is not part of the property it is across a very busy street so keep that in mind as well."

"What an amazing hotel. I have nothing negative to say at all. It was a perfect stay. The rooms are amazing, the staff are wonderful and the amenities are brilliant. It was a perfect oasis in an otherwise busy trip through Thailand. The staff were so helpful and remembered small details about me and my preferences that really stood out. I ate at three out of the four restaurants there and while the steakhouse was a little pricey the quality and flavors were excellent. The Thai restaurant was phenomenal and was by far my best meal in Thailand in the 11 years I have been coming here. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any type of traveler whether it be couples, families or business travel. What a great hotel!"

"On arrival, the whole premises was a WOW to me. through the winding entrance, I was led to a spacious reception and everything was the standard of "The Standard". The staff members were very helpful, helping with all the questions I raised efficiently. The room was comfortable with a good view. The staff member in the air-conditioned restaurant was not quite responsive, and I chose to dine at the Mexican one, getting drenched into the sea breeze and the staff members were very responsive and interactive. I had a wonderful time in the restaurant. The breakfast was quite disappointing; I was the first one to attend the venue at around 0645, but most of the hot food was not heated up properly. The congee should be otherwise prepared warm enough but in the end, it was lukewarm."
