"We stayed at this fantastic place for two weeks. The house has its own access to the water where you can sit or lie down. The area is fantastically beautiful for swimming, walking, paddle boarding or sailing. The landlord is very friendly and if there is anything you can always reach him. He is very helpful. The supermarket is unfortunately a bit of a drive but that is no problem if you do groceries for a week, for example. "We have had a wonderful time at the house and enjoyed the hospitality, beautiful view and scenery. The only nuisance were the many wasps visiting the pool during very warm sunny days. The owners were helpful in solving this, but still restricted the use of it during parts of the day. "

"Ok so the place looks to be great. Check in was no problem. The major problem was timing for our stay was during the low season so only grocery markets were opened nothing else no restaurants. We looked all over the island too. My opinion is if the person who checked us in knew this she should have warned us: Nothing is opened. "Staro Selo (Old Village) is a very special place for me because my mother grew up in this small mountain village. Even without the family connection this was a wonderful stay.
