The host gave us a very warm welcome on arrival and took the time to point out where the nearby restaurants and beaches were. "We had a great stay at the AC Marriott Split. The hotel is modern, clean, and located in the impressive Dalmatia Tower, which, according to the staff at check-in, is the tallest building in Croatia. The location is very convenient, about a 12-minute drive from Split Old Town or less than a 30-minute walk. It’s also a great base if you’re planning to explore areas outside of Split, as getting in and out of the city is relatively easy. The hotel also has indoor parking, which was a big plus for us. They also have an indoor pool but be aware that it is not accessible for kids under 16 years old. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay, especially if you have a car and plan on exploring beyond Split."
