"Wonderful place to stay. Quiet and beautiful and right up a hill from the lake. We loved going out on the kayaks and spending the evening in the hot tub. Just a short drive to Alexandria, where we visited their farmers market and took a tour of a winery. And just a short walk to Holmes city, with a general store and their own weekend farmers market. The communication with Glen and Barry was outstanding. The property was just as listed and check-in was easy. Was an absolutely wonderful stay over Labor Day weekend."

"Very nice and clean place and with spacious bedrooms! The patio was nice and we really enjoyed the bonfire. The dock had a great view to the lake. It was a great getaway for the family!"

"It isn’t always easy to find a nice lake cabin that allows our dogs so this was great. It was a perfect size for our family of four and two dogs. It’s right on the water and the views were amazing. Will definitely stay again!"

"We were looking for a place that could easily accommodate 11-12 people comfortably. This place came through and some. Plenty of space where we had to ask ourselves several times if everyone was there. Host was excellent with communication. Answered all of our questions in a reasonable time. City was quiet and safe. We actually sent our 10 year old and her niece to go to the small grocery store less than a block away. The instructions are clear. No room for misunderstandings which we appreciated a lot. Tons of lakes in the area. We fished all of them during our stay. J/K. Too many to try and visit in one trip. We will be renting here again. We can’t say it enough. Our host was the most communicative, clear, and pleasant host we’ve had. We would highly recommend this place to anyone needing a lot of space."

"The house was ready when we arrived, air conditioning was on. Kitchen wares were available. The water had a bad smell that we were not comfortable taking a bath. Otherwise our trip a success and we were able to unwind and relax."
