"Great space, very quiet and private, no road noise. Great pool and the villas were very cute, but pretty small. If your goal is a brilliant blue beach and white sand, then this is not your resort. The Ocean / Bay views are nice, but the beach was very rocky and shallow, and no real “Sandy” beach to hang out on. Only bad experience we had was with the lady at the check in desk, we asked for a taxi to town and she insisted we pay her directly for the ride, which we found out from the driver was about 3x the normal price. Very close to the bar scene, maybe a 15 min ride, and if call on your own and don’t use the clerk at the front desk, it’s about 300 Baht each way, or $9 American"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rocky’s Boutique Resort. The service was exceptional from start to finish, with the staff going above and beyond to help us celebrate both our engagement and a birthday during our stay. We were also incredibly grateful for the fantastic upgrade to a beautiful beachfront room, which made the experience even more special. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive and genuinely keen to make sure everything was perfect. The setting is amazing, tucked between a couple of rocky coves with lovely sandy beaches in between, creating a peaceful and wonderfully romantic atmosphere. It’s a fantastic location for a relaxing getaway. The food was excellent too, with a great selection of vegetarian options, and the live music on several evenings was a lovely touch — atmospheric without being intrusive. And not to forget the delicious welcome drink! Overall, Rocky’s is a truly romantic hotel with exceptional service, a beautiful setting and a wonderful attention to detail. We’d happily return and highly recommend it."

"I had an amazing stay at The Beach Samui. The hotel has a beautiful pool that’s perfect for relaxing, and the food was outstanding throughout our stay. Our room was modern, spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it a great place to unwind after a day out. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Nikki Beach Resort and would gladly return. The property is beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everyone was friendly and accommodating and made our stay so enjoyable. One of the things we appreciated most was the location. The resort was within easy walking distance of several local restaurants, including Tammi's, and there were also two massage parlors nearby, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy great food and relax without needing transportation. Tours and excursions also picked us up directly from the resort with no issues, making it easy to explore the island. The only downside was the resort's food. While the breakfast was acceptable, the remainder of the resort's food selections didn't quite match the exceptional quality of the accommodations and service. Thankfully, we discovered Tammi's on our first night, and it truly felt like a hidden gem. The restaurant was air-conditioned (a welcome escape from the tropical heat), and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They took our food orders seriously and made sure everything was prepared exactly as requested. The bartender was exceptionally meticulous, and every drink was consistently excellent. We ended up returning multiple times during our stay because the service and food were so reliable. Overall, Nikki Beach exceeded our expectations.
