"I don’t usually complain about places, even when I’ve stayed for short periods. However, I wouldn’t really call this a hotel — it felt more like a roadside motel. At reception, the staff only spoke about the city tax. There was no welcome or even a simple “thank you.” Also, the city tax was higher than what was shown on the app. Yes, it is very close to the train station. However, getting back to the city takes around 30 minutes each way, and the transportation cost adds up quickly. We spent about €30 per person per day traveling back and forth between the hotel and the city, so that is definitely something to consider as well. The amenities were also very limited. The only good thing was that there was a coffee machine in the room."

"Bunk Utrecht was a great stay. It’s close enough to Centraal to walk with luggage, and the restored‑church setting gives the lobby and restaurant a really unique atmosphere with a solid crowd. The box‑bed setup feels private and well designed, and the bathrooms were consistently clean and well maintained."
