"This hotel is phenomenal. I don’t say that lightly, I’ve stayed at many unique , great hotels, but Links House is truly above them all. The service, the comfort of the quality bedding and linens, the wonderful breakfast that is offered to all guests to mention a few were exceptional. The location is perfect if you’re interested in golfing Royal Dornoch or visiting a quaint village in the Highlands. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Ok the property was very attractive .. in perfect location, beautiful garden setting, attractive and smart kitchen, traditional furnishings, and yes the Anta rugs and nice bedding etc. well done. However we found the lounges a bit on the formal side for relaxation, and would benefit from better lighting for reading. Upstairs was cramped and we have a few bumps on the head from altercations with the low roof. All very steeped in character, but definitely not a relaxing break for us I’m afraid… Jane Austin fans would love it perhaps. A step back in time. Also, should say that the instructions for heating the radiators was slightly confusing. Lots of ‘do’and ‘do not’. Not a ‘cosy’ experience for us. "
