Our house measures 72 square metres and can accommodate up to 5 people
The house features a living-dining room with an open kitchen on the ground floor, a flat-screen satellite TV, a DVD player and stereo system, a spacious, bright bathroom, and a storage room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, glass-ceramic cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator-freezer, and range hood. You’ll also find a coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, and, of course, dishes, pots, and pans.
From the living room, you can access the patio and garden. There is outdoor furniture for six people:
Upstairs, there are two comfortable bedrooms. An open wooden staircase leads from one of the bedrooms to the small rooftop studio with two additional beds, where the second TV is located.
Location and surroundings
Nessmersiel is an up-and-coming seaside resort, located directly on the seawall and just 1.5 km from the sandy beach. There you’ll find 250 beach chairs, a playground, and a restaurant with a sunny terrace and unobstructed views of the East Frisian islands of Baltrum and Norderney. Nessmersiel offers a separate beach for families with dogs. At the harbour, you can book trips on motorboats or take the ferry to Baltrum:
The town itself offers good amenities and is home to a child-friendly holiday complex. It’s just a few minutes from the village centre, which features a supermarket and cosy restaurants with beer gardens.
You can walk to pick up your morning rolls, enjoy a delicious meal at one of the many restaurants (with outdoor seating in the summer), or simply have a beer.
The unique Sturmfrei recreation centre, bike rentals, dragon meadow, pedal boat rentals, petrol station with ATM, sauna, and fitness centre round out the leisure experience.
At low tide, you can take a guided mudflat hike to the islands.
Enjoy the healthy and invigorating North Sea climate. Approximately 40 km of inline skating and biking trails along the dikes, along with various excursion options in East Frisia, will make your holiday a varied experience.
Nessmersiel’s new attraction
The 3,000 m² family entertainment centre in Nessmersiel, Störtebekerstr. 18, means “storm-free.” It stands out from all other North Sea entertainment centers thanks to its versatility. Trampoline, professional climbing wall, mini-bowling, game room, and 4D adventure cinema. Space for musicals, shows, and theatre. Golf simulator for driving and putting—not just for pros. A versatile playing field for street football, streetball, volleyball, and badminton.
Wellness area with massage, sauna, and deep pool. Aerobics, dance classes, yoga, meditation, autogenic training, and art workshops are offered.

North Sea Service Card
The North Sea Service Card is valid at the spa resorts in Dornum - Dornumersiel - Neßmersiel, Esens-Bensersiel, Neuharlingersiel, Werdum, Carolinensiel-Harlesiel, Dangast, Wangerland, Greetsiel-Krummhörn and has replaced the traditional spa card in these locations.

Neßmersiel—dogs are welcome in the town of Dornum. A special new attraction has opened: in Neßmersiel, there is now a dog park where dogs and their owners can run around or train together. The 40-meter-by-40-meter area is located on the dog beach. Dog owners can try their hand at the sport of dog agility in the new dog playground. The fun, fenced-in agility park features a large open field where dogs can run off-leash. There are also 21 obstacles, two slalom courses, a swing, a tunnel, tyres, walls, and walkways.
